There are so many air dry compounds, how do you know which one you should choose for your next job? Here are the differences between our air dry compounds to help you make that choice.
This compound is an off white color and is for small to medium sized cracks. It creates a soft, flexible, strong repair that can be sanded.
This is a terrific gray compound for slight imperfections like hairline cracks. It can also be used to seal an area where leather has worn off (porous areas). This compound is not sandable but it dries quickly.
This compound is our thinnest air dry compound. It fills most surface cracks and small cuts. It comes in a squeeze bottle for easy application. It is gray in color and can be sanded.
This tan colored compound is best for deep cracks and gouges. This compound cannot be sanded. Iff it is a hole that is all the way through to the foam then switch to a heat cured compound.
This is a smooth spreading light brown compound that comes in a squeeze bottle. You can use this for deep leather repairs, especially when in need of abrasion resistance. You can smooth the rough edges with a wet trowel knife and you can sand it. However, this compound must be topcoated with EZ Leather Fill or Leather Repair Adhesive.
This compound is fast drying and comes in two colors: white and gray. It eliminates minor cracks and superficial scratches. with excellent feel and adhesion. It is water soluble and can be sanded.
